The 7th Beat the Banana Charity Run
Close to 1,000 people took part in the 7th annual WCRF HK Beat the Banana Run on Sunday 4th March. Thank you for the fantastic support of runners & sponsors which has helped to raise HK$963,239. Cancer Prevention: Chinese vs Western Perspectives
The 8th WCRF HK Health Professional Conference Cancer Prevention: Chinese vs. Western Perspectives was held on Saturday 28 May. Foremost experts in oncology, nutrition, Chinese medicine and public health gathered at the conference to discuss and examine the latest findings in the field of food, nutrition, physical activity and cancer prevention from both the Chinese and Western perspectives. A range of local speakers also shared their knowledge and their latest findings on the important role that TCM plays in the lives of millions of Chinese people.
Over 160 delegates attended the Conference when future cancer research directions and the Continuous Update Project of WCRF International were also discussed. For more information about the conference materials including the abstract book, presentation slides and photo gallery, please see below.
