To promote the importance of a healthy diet and cancer prevention, Pacific Basin is participating in ‘Fruity Friday’ again this year organized by World Cancer Research Fund Hong Kong (WCRF HK). We recognize the importance of promoting health and safety, social and environmental interests as our responsibilities. It is meaningful to support WCRF HK as research on diet and cancer prevention helps us understand better how to minimize the risks of cancers. Our Company values the healthiness of all staff and it is a good way to promote the culture of a healthy workplace.

Pacific Basin has participated in WCRF HK’s Fruity Friday since 2006. Every year, we organize a fruity afternoon snack, when colleagues can enjoy a box of fruits, fresh fruit drinks and obtain healthy information packs provided by WCRF HK. Besides the fruity afternoon snack, we will do something special by organizing a quiz competition regarding the health issue. The purpose of the competition is to let our colleagues understand more about how to prevent cancer through their daily life & diet.

太平洋航運自2006年以來積極參與「果一日」活動。每年，我們均舉辦水果下午茶聚會 – 參與活動的同事可獲得一份鮮果盒、果汁及WCRF HK提供之健康資訊小册子。除了舉辦水果下午茶聚會外，我們還會加插有關健康訊息的問答比賽，目的旨在令同事們透過日常生活和飲食習慣來預防癌症。

為了推廣健康飲食和預防癌症的重要性，太平洋航運今年再次參加了由世界癌症研究基金會(香港)舉辦的「果一日」活動。我們一向重視其對健康與安全、社會及環境的責任。透過支持世界癌症研究基金會，為其籌募經費以用作飲食和癌症預防之研究項目，從而減低患癌的機會，是一項十分有意義的事。我們亦可從中推廣及為同事營造一個健康的飲食文化。
